In the worldwide Pak Mei generations, for the transmission of the skills within
the forms, exhibit a dazzling diversity in shapes, styles,
movement sequences, and interpretations of application.
The understanding and standards for "Frame Structure", "Power
Generation", "Hand Techniques", and "Swallow．Spit．Float．Sink"
vary widely - truly a hundred schools of thought contend
(Chinese saying). Some have even adjusted or adapted the
hand & weapon techniques based on personal experience, with
certain branches developing forms unique to their lineage. Some
have also incorporated outside elements, such as Tai Chi's principles
or Choy Lee Fut's techniques, into their Pak Mei practice.
Such variations are commonplace in traditional martial arts
circles. While unification remains difficult to achieve,
this phenomenon reflects a vibrant, blossoming diversity.
"Bright Dragon Martial Arts Association"
(hereinafter referred to as "the Association") primarily preserves the Pak Mei Kung Fu which passed down directly from Sifu LI Shek-Lin under Master KWOK Chi-Cheong's lineage of Pak Mei Pai (White Eyebrow Sect), and
holds the Orthodox
transmission with full recognition from Sifu LI Shek-Lin.
The Association also introduces the teaching methods of
"Piercing Eyes and Fast Hands" & "Natural Hard and Soft" in
Okinawa Uechi-Ryu Karate, along with the direction of "Heavy and
Thick but Light and Agile" & "Strength and Speed together as
One", to project the true essence of
"Hands．Eyes．Body．Methods．Footworks" in traditional Chinese
martial arts, under the guidance of the President, Sifu Bill NG.
Out of respect, the Association neither claims nor has ever
intended to represent the "Original Pak Mei" methods in their
entirety. We honor the freedom and brilliance of Pak Mei
lineages and practitioners in their pursuit of martial art's
excellence.

Which Pak Mei school is
the most combat-effective? |

Among the martial arts practitioners, there are distinctions
between the strong and the weak - what matters most is one's own
dedication to Kung Fu.
The Association is a simple group purely for martial arts education,
yet our teaching direction is not focused on producing the best
Pak Mei fighter. We aim to revive the culture & the spirit of traditional Chinese martial arts which passed down from our seniors, and to instruct our members for improving their "Mind, Skill, Body" via the practice of martial arts, increasing their will to live and ability of self-defense, thus shaping the tough & flexible "Kung Fu" for life.
As for the use of martial arts, our
intent is solely to enable oneself - and those in need of
protection - to escape danger safely.

What are Sifu Bill NG's
criteria for accepting learners? |

The learners should maintain good conduct and submit tuition
fees on time.
- Group Class (Members only): Aged 12 or
above, Teens or Adults;
After mastering the form "Tiger Steps Rubbing Bridges",
those who demonstrate
respect for the teacher, honor the teaching, and show loyalty &
sincerity will be taught the form "Fierce Tiger
Exits Forest" which directly transmitted by Master LI Shek-Lin
to Sifu Bill NG.
- Private Lessons (Non-members are also
welcome): Aged 5 or above, Children, Teens or Adults;
Individuals with Pak Mei experience should make every effort
to seek approval from their teacher first (if your teacher has
passed away, please make every effort to consult with your
Sibaak or Sisok first).
Additional Note (i): Sifu Bill NG is unable to provide live
online classes.
(ii): The Association
absolutely does not accept false
accusations that misinterpret purely good-faith free martial
arts exchanges as attempts to poach students or sneak attack
fellow practitioners.

Who instructed Sifu Bill
NG in Pak Mei martial arts? |

As of August 2025, for Sifu Bill NG's Pak Mei martial arts,
all has been directly transmitted hand-to-hand by Sifu
LI Shek-Lin, with the form "Nine Steps Push"
additionally co-taught by Sisok LO Kwai-Sang
under Master KWOK Chi-Cheong's lineage.
Besides, during Sifu Bill NG's journey of studying Pak Mei
martial arts, he was accompanied for considerable periods by
Sihing LAM Hok-Ho; although not an instructing senior,
their shared learning brought profound mutual benefit.
